Ganpati Visarjan: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan and Shilpa Shetty Immerse Ganesh Idols [PHOTOS]

Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is known for celebrating festivals of various religions, be it Christmas, Diwali or Eid, observed the special occasion of Ganesh Chaurthi with his family and friends at sister Arpita's residence, as his Bandra house is under renovation.

Several celebrities, including Salman's ex flames - Katrina Kaif and Sangeeta Bijlani - attended the Ganpati Visarjan celebration held on Tuesday (10 September). Katrina seems to have distanced herself from the Khan family after rumours of her relationship with actor Ranbir Kapoor surfaced, but she has always been close to Salman's sister Arpita. She was seen with the Khan family after a long time.

The Ganpati Visarjan celebration hosted by the Khan family was also attended by many celebrities like "Dabangg" actress Sonakshi Sinha, Riddhima Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Mini Mathur and Prateik Babbar.

Meanwhile, the Roshan family also immersed the Ganesh idol on the occasion of Ganpati Visarjan. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and his dad Rakesh Roshan, who are awaiting the release of their film "Krrish 3", were spotted mingling with the public during the immersion of the idol.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, sister Shamita Shetty, mother Sunanda, and dad Surendra also bid adieu to their Ganpati. Shilpa and her hubby Kundra were spotted dancing with the public during the procession.
