"Gangnam Blues" star Lee Min Ho will be playing lead role in upcoming action thriller movie, "Bounty Hunters" along with some of the most popular Asian celebrities.
Starhaus Entertainment recently confirmed that the celeb will join the cast list of the film, which will be directed by Shin Tae Ra of the "My Girlfriend Is an Agent" fame. The 27-year-old will play the title role and portray a very intelligent, charming and skilled martial artist.
"Bounty Hunters" will be co-produced by several production companies from Hong Kong, Korea and Shanghai, including Starhaus Entertainment production, Harmony Entertainment and Pegasus Motion Pictures. The initial budget set for the movie is 35 billion won, which is around US$31 million.
The action thriller is likely to focus on the hunt for a hotel bomber and the filming of it is scheduled to begin by August in various Asian countries, including Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong and China, according to Kdramastars.
Earlier, Lee Min Ho had hinted at appearing in Zhang Ziyi's upcoming Chinese thriller, "Eternal Doll", which is an adaptation of a Korean novel. However, they will have to wait a little longer to know the celeb's role in the film as the makers are yet to release the details.
