Golden Star Ganesh and actress Amoolya's second film "Shravani Subramanya," which released in theatres on 27 December , turned out to be a big money spinner at the Sandalwood Box Office, creating a huge demand for its remake rights. The movie will reportedly soon be remade in Telugu and its rights have already been sold.
Sridhar Lagadapathi, who has earlier produced "Potugadu," the remake of "Govindaya Namaha", has acquired the rights to make the film in Telugu for a whopping price. The producer has asked Manju Swaraj to direct this version too, but the latter is yet to give his consent for the remake. If he accepts the offer, it would be his directorial debut in Tollywood. Sridhar is yet to finalise its title and other cast and crew details.
"Shravani Subramanya" is a romantic comedy film, which has been produced by KA Suresh under his home production banner Suresh Arts Productions. Besides direction, Manju Swaraj has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues, which are among the main highlights of the film.
The story of "Shravani Subramanya" revolves around a budding singer, who wants to become a popular singer like SPB. His life takes a different direction, when he saves a girl from the clutches of a rowdy. The changes that this girl's entry brings in his life forms the crux of the film. In addition to wonderful direction, the amazing chemistry between the lead pair is the main highlight of the film.
Ananth Nag, Tara, Avinash, Yashas, Sadhu Kokila, Neenasam Ashwath, Parul Yadav and Sudeep have played other important roles in "Shravani Subramanya." V Harikrishna has composed music for the songs, while B Suresh Babu handled the cinematography for the movie, which has a rich production value.
