Game of Thrones season 8 is only a few months away from its official premiere date. Fans of George RR Martin's epic fantasy drama are eagerly waiting for the official trailer of the most awaited season. As the show enters into its final season, several fan theories are swirling around the fate of GoT's character. As of now, one of the most talked about theory is of the return of a Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones season 8.
Khal Drogo is the fictional character from A Song of Ice and Fire series. In Game of Thrones' universe, Khal means a leader of the Dothraki clan, and based on his power and command over the tribe, it was speculated that he will be the one to sit on the Iron Throne. However, after getting wounded in a battle, he begins to develop a severe case of sepsis, which ultimately leads to his sudden death.
After Kha Drogo's death in the series, it was his wife, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) who took control over the Dothraki clan and waged a war against Cersei Lannister.
However, as per a recent fan theory, Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) could return to the final battle of Game of Thrones. As per a Redditor u/cardiacman, there are slim chances that Jason Momoa could return in the final season.
As per the far-fetched theory, "All characters that have been burned to death/after death by fire will be reincarnated by R'hllor (god of fire/light/red god). You fight an army with an army, an army of burned dead people that you resurrect."
Check out the entire theory here:
Basically what this theory stats that anyone who has been burned in Game of Thrones, could make a comeback.
As stated above, this indeed is a far-fetched theory. However, it was recently reported that Sean Bean shot some exclusive footage for Game of Thrones. At the same time, Jason Momoa has always remained vocal on Instagram when it comes to his on-screen wife, Daenerys. Ever since his departure from the show, he has posted several posts that made many to believe that he misses the epic fantasy drama show.
Game of Thrones season 8 will return in April 2019.
