Game of Thrones season 8 is scheduled to air in April 2019. Fans from all around the world are desperately waiting to see the very first trailer of HBO's epic fantasy drama series. Before the Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington starrer drama enter into its final season, fans are coming up with different theories about the fate of their favorite characters as to who will survive by the hands of Night King and who will sit on the Iron Throne.
As per the ongoing story, Game of Thrones season 8 will be full of wars and betrayals. If the recent interviews are to be believed then GoT season 8 episode 3 will have an epic battle that will show the death of a major character. Most importantly, the changes in the narrative happen after someone changes the allegiance. For example, the death of Littlefinger in Game of Thrones season 7 happened when Sansa Stark got on good terms with her sister Arya Stark, and in an earlier season when Robb Stark along with his mother and pregnant wife died after the allegiances were changed.
As per a report by IFLScience via Metro, show's lead character, and second lead, true heir to the Iron Throne, Daenerys Targaryen's survival chances are pretty slim.
As per the report, in season eight of Game of Thrones, those characters are most likely to survive who have switched allegiances at least once in the story. But the Mother of Dragons has remained unhinged.
"However, strong females were more likely to make it than their male counterparts, as were highborn, which could mean the fickle-minded backstabbing current queen of Westeros, Cersei Lannister, could be in for quite the season. For our guys, this could mean good things for Tyrion Lannister and the breathtaking bastard son Jon Snow, who both took a knee for the Mother of Dragons," it adds.
Apparently, this is not the only speculation that talks about Daenerys Targaryen's death. Earlier in season seven, viewers got several clues that Daenerys is not going to survive until the very end. For instance, in a particular scene in season seven when Tyrion Lannister advises Daenerys to name a successor before she travels north to help Jon Snow, she challenges him by saying, "You want to know who sits on the Iron Throne after I'm dead. Is that it?"
As of now, it is still not clear whether Daenerys Targaryen will survive the battle against the White Walkers or not, but her previous battles have shown that she is indeed a strong contender and after getting into an intimate relationship with her own nephew Jon Snow, she actually makes a strong army who can defeat both Cersei Lannister and the Night King.
