Game of Thrones Season 8 is going to bring about the death of almost all the lead characters. There is a new fan theory that suggests that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) would be the one who will finally put an end to Cersei Lannister's (Lena Headey) reign at the Westeros.
At the very beginning of the show, Arya Stark made a list of people she wants to kill. As the series progressed, fans observed how Arya has become one of the most dangerous character in the entire Westeros. With face changing abilities and nerve-racking knife fighting skills, Arya becomes the prominent character who can actually bring peace in the Game of Thrones' world.
According to a new fan theory from Redditor, Arya will be the one to kill Cersei. The Redditor, NoTeeNoShade, talks about Arya killing Cersei in a most twisted way imaginable. In the books and the adapted TV series, Cersei is experiencing her life in a way that she can avoid the prophecies led down on her by Maggy the Frog when she was just a child.
In one of Maggy's prophecies, Cersei was told about her children and her own death. Maggy stated, "Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds. And when your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you."
In High Valyrian, Valonqar translates to "little brother," hence her deep hatred for her dwarf brother Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). However, even Jammie happens to be her little brother as the twin was born holding on to her foot. This makes the above prophecy more deem worthy.
Many are now speculating that Arya will first kill Jamie and then will use his face to kill Cersei, completing her long last list of the people she intended to kill as well as fulfilling the prophecy.
"She will probably die by fire because all 'will turn to ashes in her mouth.' But will it be her own wildfire? Dragon's breath? Immolation?" the fan concluded.
As of now, nothing can be confirmed when it comes to Game of Thrones. The HBO's epic fantasy show has always amazed the fans by twists and changing the storyline at the last scene. More will be confirmed after the premiere of season eight.
