Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer hints at Stark reunion; Jon Snow recognised as a Targaryen?

HBO's hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones has released the first trailer for Season 7, and it looks like Arya Stark with reunite with her siblings Sansa Stark and Jon Snow. The Starks have thinned out significantly since the show began, and the only one who won't be a part of the reunion is Bran Stark.

The trailer release comes just days after it was rumoured that the plot for Season 7 has been leaked online. A Reddit user, whose account has since been deleted, posted a number of detailed spoilers on the site, but it is not immediately known if these scenarios will actually take place in Season 7.

According to spoilers, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen will meet in the upcoming season and they will embark on a romantic relationship. Jon Snow and Daenerys' meeting was earlier confirmed when photos from the set leaked that showed Daenerys and Tyrion with Jon Snow.
Season 7 may also see Jon Snow being recognised as a Targaryen, and he and Daenerys will attempt to take down Cersei Lannister, who has claimed the Iron Throne.

Cersei isn't expected to last long in Game of Thrones and it wouldn't be surprising if the character is killed off in Season 7. According to a prophecy, Cersei will be queen only until "there comes another, younger and more beautiful, to cast you down and take all that you hold dear."

Initially, it was believed the prophecy was alluding to Margaery as the beautiful and younger person who will take Cersei's place. But it looks like Maggy the Frog was talking about Daenerys. The prophecy also talks about Cersei's death. "When your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you," Maggy said. The word "Valonqar" means "little brother" in Valyrian and it is believed that Tyrion will be the one to finish off his sister.

Game of Thrones season 7 is set to air in summer 2017.
