HBO has released new pictures from Season 7 of Game of Thrones and it hints at troubled times for most key characters such as Jon Snow, Daenerys and Cersei.
One photograph shows Cersei with her brother Jaime in the map room and both of them looked tense. Cersei has all reasons to be worried as not everyone is happy with her ascend to the Iron Throne. Daenerys has landed in Westeros and she believes she is the rightful owner of the Throne, and it won't be long before she hatches a plan to get back what she believes is hers.

As for Jon Snow, his priority is to deal with the threat of the White Walkers and spoilers indicate that Kit Harington's character will head South to enlist help to deal with this immediate threat.
Will he join forces with Daenerys? Photographs from a filming location did hint at Jon Snow meeting with the Mother of Dragons as the season progresses, and rumours swirling around have been hinting at something romantic brewing between Jon Snow and Daenerys. Because these rumours haven't been confirmed, we'll have to find out if there is any truth to these claims.
But Jon Snow actor Kit Harington did reveal that a lot of important characters will finally meet in Season 7.
"This season is really different than any other season because it's accelerating toward the end, a lot of stuff collides and happens much much quicker than you're used to seeing on Thrones … it's so different than what everybody is used to. It's quite exciting," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Executive producer Dan Weiss added: "Things are moving faster because in the world of these characters the war that they've been waiting for is upon them. The conflicts that have been building the past six years are upon them and those facts give them a sense of urgency that makes [the characters] move faster."
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on July 16.
