Season 7 of HBO's hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones is currently in production and news from the filming location hints at Emilia Clarke's Daenerys meeting two characters who are loyal to the Starks.
According to spoiler forum Watchers on the Wall, Daenerys will be coming in contact with Davos Seaworth and Brienne of Tarth, the characters portrayed by Liam Cunningham and Gwendoline Christie, respectively. This has given rise to speculations that Season 7 will see the Targaryen joining forces with the Starks to take down Cersei Lannister, who has claimed the Iron Throne.
Speculation of a Starks-Targaryen alliance further gained momentum when yet another spoiler forum, Los Siete Reinos, revealed that the new season will see the current Lord of Winterfell heading south to meet Theon Greyjoy. Interestingly, plot rumours indicate that Daenerys will be close by in King's Landing when Theon and Jon meet.
In other Game of Thrones news, it looks like Arya Stark, the character essayed by Maisie Williams will finally reunite with her siblings in Season 7. Photos from the sets showed Williams wearing a brown leather outfit similar to what Lyanna Mormont wore in the previous season, sparking speculation that Arya has finally returned to the North and reunited with Jon Snow and Sansa Stark.
The last we saw of Arya was after she slit Walder Frey's throat, just after she served him pies made out of his dead sons. Now that she is back in Westeros, Arya will probably learn of Jon Snow and Sansa's victory in the North, and join them as they get ready to take down Cersei Lannister.
Game of Thrones Season 7 will return to HBO in the summer of 2017 instead of spring due to a delay in starting production. The show is based on George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books.
