Filming for Season 7 of Game of Thrones is underway in Northern Ireland and the harsh winter conditions seem to be getting to actress Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys in the fantasy drama.
Taking to Instagram, she posted two photos where she revealed the difficulties of filming in winter.
In a selfie posted on Friday, Clarke covers her Daenerys costume with a winter coat and captioned it: "Rain?! One is not amused.... now where are ones waterproof dragons when one needs them #thiswigneedsalilmorecrownsandalillesswaterproofplasticheadgear #goodthingthiskweenknowshowtoposeintheraineh."
The day before she uploaded a video of herself struggling to maintain her balance while battling gusts of wind. "We're filming. This is Bear Grylls filming circa Game of Thrones," Clarke says in the clip. "And then I fell over. Or rather a brisk 50mph N.Irish wind caught me unawares.... #gameofhowtostanduprightinagaleforcewind #atleasttheviewmsdeitallworthiteh?#bitoftailwinddoesnicleyonadragonridethough....," she captioned the video.
In other news, Watchers on the Wall reader has obtained photographs from the filming location in Spain. Reportedly, preparation is ongoing in the Roman ruins of Italica and the crew was spotted building a staircase from the ground below up to the pit floor. This location, according to the spoiler forum, could be a dragon pit to accommodate Daenerys' dragons.
Game of Thrones, the television adaptation of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, will air Season 7 sometime after April.
