Most of us would have applauded Sansa's heroic escape from Winterfell and her violent husband, Ramsay Bolton, at the end of season 5. However, if one thought that the eldest daughter of the Starks wouldn't be near Ramsay, he would have to think again, because a recent spoiler suggests otherwise.
The show is shooting a dramatic scene in Winterfell which includes Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). Yes, the very same person who was stabbed in the previous season.
Sources from the sets have reportedly revealed that the scene is filled with tension between the characters. The insider also said that a giant will make his appearance in Winterfell.
The revelation does not hint at any other development in the plot or the story, but the takeaway is this: Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" includes a great battle for Ned Stark's (Sean Bean) castle with Jon Snow, Sansa, Peter Baelish and the giant on one side of the battle.
Fans of the show have been quick to point out that the giant could indeed be Wun Wun, who moved away from the wildlings area in season 5.
According to a "Game of Thrones" spoiler site, this battle between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton is being called "The battle of the bastards," and will serve as the climax for season 6.
The report further suggests that Jon Snow's allies will include the wildlings and not his father's bannerman, the Karstarks and the Umbers, who will, in fact, support the Boltons.
If the rumours prove to be true, Ramsay Bolton has garnered allegiance in the north, but will this change when they see the heir to Winterfell, Sansa Stark, in the battle?
"Game of Thrones" season 6 will premiere in April 2016.
