"Game of Thrones" has never had a shortage of fan theorists that have admittedly often guessed the right twists and turns ahead of their premiere on TV. However, the latest one to have put everyone's jaws on the floor may be one of the best fan theories for Season 6 that we have heard yet.
Potential spoilers ahead
Maggy's prophesy for Cersei has troubled many fans almost as much as it troubles Cersei herself. In it, was the line: "the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." As many devoted fans of "Game of Thrones" that have learned Valyrian will know that Valonqar translates to little brother.
Now, Cersei had translated this to mean that Tyrion will be the cause of her death. However, considering the Imp is far away from the King's Landing and focused on more important things, Reddit user RobertGoulet850 has predicted that it will be Jaime that chokes his beloved sister/lover to death. After all, Jaime had come out of their mother's womb after Cersei did, technically making him the younger twin.
In the previously aired Season 6 episode 8, Jaime had declared his undying love for her, even claiming that if he has to kill every Tully to get back to her, he would. In the "Game of Thrones" universe, this would be the perfect poetic moment to have Jaime kill Cersei.

Now, what would compel him to commit such a horrendous thing? RobertGoulet850 has an answer for that as well. "Jaime's character development is largely centered around one event: the killing of the Mad King after he ordered the burning of King's Landing by wildfire," he reminds us.
Jaime earned the title of King Slayer because he could not let his duty to the king stop him from protecting the people of his kingdom. Despite his villainous traits, Jaime has confused many fans into liking him by displaying moments of tenderness.
It is understood that Cersei will follow the path of Aerys II and try to burn down the kingdom after possibly losing the trial or the madness may be triggered by the death of last surviving child, Tommen. Regardless, she is expected to make such a decision, especially after Bran's visions of a wildfire exploding under King's Landing.
Despite his love for Cersei, this decision would force Jaime to choke her to death. Now, you can dismiss this all as part of a fan theory, but it does make a whole lot of sense.
