HBO has released the official trailer of the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones", and the two-minute promo shows what most of the lead characters are up to.

For instance, Jaime seems to be preparing for Tywin Lannister's funeral and Tyrion appears to have found a safe place after being smuggled out of King's Landing.

Here are five important things we learnt from the trailer:

Daenerys to Westroes?

Varys appears to be plotting towards bringing Daenerys to Westroes. Tyrion and Varys have escaped to a new location and one shot shows the eunuch telling Tyrion that he has an important part to play in the war to come.

"The Seven Kingdoms need a ruler loved by millions with a powerful army and the right family name," Varys says, to which Tyrion responds, "Good luck finding him."
Varys replies, "Who said anything about him?"

Daenerys is preparing for War against an unseen foe

Meanwhile, Daenerys and her gang are preparing for a battle against an unseen enemy. "I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break the wheel," Daenerys is heard saying in the trailer.

House of Black and White

Arya has finally arrived in Braavos and she is seen standing at the doors of the House of Black and White. Another shot shows Arya, attired differently, picking up the Needle.

Margaery Tyrell and Tommen Baratheon Wedding

The trailer shows yet another wedding in Season 5, and unlike the previous ceremonies this seems to be a happy one. Tommen will be marrying Maegery Tyrell, much in the same fashion as his brother Joffrey did, who was killed in the previous season.

Sansa and Littlefinger

A number of fans have predicted that Sansa will be getting Lady Stoneheart's plot, as we see Littlefinger telling her: "There's no justice in this world, not unless we make it. Avenge them," which is in line with the prediction.

"Game of Thrones" Season 5 will air on 12 April, 2015.
