If rumours swirling around are true, then the finale of "Game of Thrones" season 5 could see the return of several characters including Eddard Stark's brother Benjen Stark and Theon Greyjoy's family members Yara and Balon Greyjoy.
The storylines of most of the characters on HBO's "Game of Thrones" have changed drastically from George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire," making it difficult for fans to predict what the future holds for several characters.
But with "Game of Thrones" season 5 finale just weeks away, spoilers and speculations on how the season will end have gained traction, and one piece of news addresses the possibility of several characters making a return to the show.
The IMDb cast list for the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale states that Night's King, Benjen Stark, Yara and Balon Greyjoy will be putting in an appearance in episode 10, entitled "Winter."
The last we saw of Benjen Stark, a First Ranger of the Night's Watch, was in season 1 when he was seen heading towards the haunted forest, leading many to think he was dead.
The presence of Night's King is expected to shed more light into who the White Walkers are, and how their society functions.
It is not immediately known what Yara and Balon's story will be. The last we saw of Theon's sister, she had attempted to rescue him from the psychopath, Ramsay Bolton. But Theon, who became Reek, refused to leave with her.
While these new additions are going to make the finale a dramatic one, fans will have to wait for the next season before the fate of some other characters are revealed. Reportedly, Cersei and Jaime Lannister, Margaery Tyrell, Tommen and Myrcella will not be making an appearance.
But we'll get to see what's in store for Tyrion, the Sand Snakes, Jon Snow, Lord Varys, Sansa and Arya.
HBO will air the finale of "Game of Thrones" season 5 on 14 June.
