"Game of Thrones" season 5 is coming to an end on Sunday with the episode "Mother's Mercy."
Although there are speculations that at least one fan favourite character will die in the season finale, nothing has been confirmed yet. But one death that won't disappoint fans will be Ramsay Bolton's.
Ramsay became one of the most hated characters in the previous season of HBO's fantasy series after he tortured Theon and made him Reek. Hatred towards the character only increased after fans viewed the brutal and humiliating rape Sansa had to suffer on her wedding night.
So will Ramsay die in the finale? Actor Iwan Rheon, who plays Ramsay Bolton, confessed during an interview with Wales Online that his character deserved to die. But at the same time he has hopes of Ramsay making it to the next season.
"That day is definitely coming, no mistake about it—and I hope that when it does it's epically nasty, and preferably dragon-related. . . . God knows I don't want him to become a White Walker. I'd hate to become a bloody zombie after all this."
Speaking about Ramsay's death, the actor added: "It could happen at any time, that's the nature of the show—no one's really safe. That said, I've just bought a flat in London so I hope that day doesn't come too soon."
However, based on Twitter chatter, fans are eager to see Ramsay's death. Here are a few gems from the microblogging site:

It remains to be seen how Sansa will kill Ramsay, but Vanity Fair predicts Sansa would use that object resembling a corkscrew, which she hid earlier, to harm Ramsay, and that Theon would end up helping her take down her primary target.
Season 5 of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will conclude on Sunday.
