The upcoming episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones" is entitled "The Gift", and it is expected to focus heavily on the activities in the North, especially Jon's mission to bring all the Wildlings to south of the wall.
Winter is coming, bringing along with it the threat of the White Walkers, and Jon Snow wants the Wildlings to come over to their side so that there will be a stronger force to fight the army of the dead. However, it remains to be seen if Jon will be successful in his mission.
Elsewhere, Stannis, who is also aware that winter is fast approaching, will decide to attack Winterfell and the Boltons, who have now made Winterfell their home. Once Stannis takes over Winterfell, he plans to move south and claim the Iron Throne. "We march to victory or we march to defeat, but we go forward," Stannis says in the trailer.
Meanwhile, Sansa, who is in Winterfell, appears to be planning her escape. She softens her approach to Theon and tells him that she still has family and friends in the North who could help them. While it remains to be seen how Sansa will escape psychopath Ramsay Bolton, who is her husband now, speculations are rife that she will reach out to Brienna.
In the meantime, we'll get to see more of the troublesome Faith Militant in the upcoming few episodes. Actor Eugene Simon recently opened about why his character Lancel Lannister is so fascinated by the religious sect. He told E!Online: "Lancel had a moral epiphany and his experiences within King's Landing have given him a very visceral understanding of just how messed up the situation politically and socially in King's Landing and all of Westeros is."
"The people leading and running it are fighting internally and not fighting for any sense of greater good. And he was both a victim of that system as well as being a part of it," Simon added.
The official synopsis of "The Gift" reads: "Jon prepares for conflict; Sansa tries to talk to Theon; Brienne waits for a sign; Stannis remains stubborn; Jaime tries to reconnect with family."
"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays on HBO.
