'Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams, who is best known as Arya Stark, has been in the news after she announced her cameo in the next series of 'Doctor Who'. Now, the actor has been spotted shooting for her role for the first time.
In March this year, it was announced that Williams will be making a guest appearance for this BBC production and the excited actor said: "I'm so excited to be working on 'Doctor Who' as it's such a big and important part of British Culture.
"I can't wait to meet the cast and crew and start filming, especially as we'll be shooting not too far from my home town."
Well, now it seems like Maisie has been working really hard, filming scenes for her guest appearance on this upcoming period adventure titled 'The Girl Who Died'. At least that's how it looks in the recently-captured footage which shows her on the sets in South Wales along with the Doctor — Peter Capaldi — himself.
It's not confirmed whether the 'Game of Thrones' star will play a baddie in this popular time-travel show or not, but the looks hint that her character could be a badass, pistol-wielding bandit.
The 18-year-old pulls off a very confident look in what appears to be a 18th century costume. She is all masked, clad in a black eye mask and has a red bandana covering most of her face.
Maisie decides to stick to her tough girl attitude for the show. She confidently rides on a horseback through the Forest Fawr near Castell Coch in Cardiff and is seen pulling a pistol from her coat to rob a stagecoach, only to realise that the passenger in that coach is none other than the Doctor himself.
The name of her character is not yet revealed, and there's nothing much that we can say. But here, you can get the first glimpse of Maisie on the sets of 'Doctor Who'.
