The prestigious Game Critics Awards 2016 has released an impressive list of nominees for the annual post E3 event. The awards are presented to some of the best games that were showcased at E3.
The award takes note of video games that are likely to shape the future of interactive entertainment, as demonstrated at the E3 show floor as hands-on playable form.
It must be noted according to the information on the official website, EA's shooter video game, "Battlefield 1" has received five nominations in categories like Best of Show, Best Console Game, Best PC Game, Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer.
Among the publishers, it was EA that got the maximum with 10 nominations, Sony second with 9 nominations and Microsoft Studios with seven nominations.
The highest nomination by platforms was for PC with 50 nominations.
