With less than a week left for the Samsung's much-awaited fourth-generation Galaxy S device, speculated specs reports have gained more traction on the internet, sending the technology world into a frenzy.

Samsung fans as well as technology critics will be eager to compare Galaxy S4 with rival smartphones and its very own predecessor, Galaxy S3, as well.

According to recent leaked snapshots of Galaxy S4, the smartphone is expected to feature Samsung's new TouchWiz interface Nature UX 2.0 with fully revamped Menu options against a white background. The images also confirmed that Galaxy S4 will come packed with the advanced eye enabled text browsing software 'Smart Scroll' as well as Smart Pause, Smart Stay and Smart Rotation features.

Its predecessor Galaxy S3 made more than 40 million sales within eight months of its launch. It also took a big bite out of Apple's iPhone market share, leading Samsung to become the world leader in smartphone market.

Speculations of Galaxy S3's successor has garnered huge hype around its debut. But along with its popularity, Galaxy S4 now has a big responsibility to uphold the company's reputation and further widen the gap with its rivals.  

With Galaxy S4 expected to pack the industry's first 8-core processor and Android Key Lime Pie OS, Samsung fans can be rest assured that next generation Galaxy S device will create a new standard in the smartphone business.

The South Korean company has confirmed that it will launch Galaxy S4 at a public event in New York City, reportedly at Times Square on 14 March.
