Dr Rajasekhar's much-awaited film "Gaddam Gang" has finally hit the theatres on 6 February. The movie has garnered mixed response from the film-goers.
"Gaddam Gang" is a comedy drama that deals with how baloney has engulfed people's day-to-day life and modern society. After losing their jobs, three friends bump into Das - who runs a smart kidnap-for-ransom scam. They team up with him and succeed in the crime world. One of their victims' father contacts them with a deal of kidnapping the son of the finance minister of the state. What happens next will create a laugh riot.
"Gaddam Gang" is a remake of 2013 blockbuster Tamil film "Soodhu Kavvum" starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. Director Sathosh Jayakumar has made some changes in the screenplay to suite the taste of the Telugu audience. Although it is entertaining, the movie has not been able to match the original flick; adding more nativity to the script could have made it better, say that viewers.
Dr Rajasekhar, Sheena, Naresh, Giri Babu, Sitha, Deepak, Achu have played the lead roles and have delivered good performances, which are the big attractions of "Gaddam Gang". Achu's music and Demel X Edwards's cinematography are the other highlights of the film, according to the movie buffs.
