The last rites of actress Aarthi Agarwal, who died of heart attack on Friday night, 5 June, is expected to be held as per her Hindu traditions in New Jersey on Monday.
Aarthi Agarwal, who was suffering from Chronic Asthma, had undergone liposuction surgery six weeks ago. She was rushed to a hospital in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at 1.30 am on Friday after she complained of breathing problem. But she breathed her last before reaching the hospital.
There have been several speculations on the cause of her death. Some reports suggest that she died due to the failure of liposuction surgery, while a few others claimed it was due to cardiac arrest. The actual reason will be revealed only after the post mortem report is out. As Saturday and Sunday are non-working days for doctors in the US, the post mortem will most likely to be done on Monday.
Aarthi Agarwal's father Shashank is a well-known businessman and he runs a hotel business in New Jersey. Her mother Veema is a housewife. She has a brother and sister. Her brother Aakash is a businessman and her sister Adithi is also an actress, who starred alongside Allu Arjun in "Gangotri".
Most of Aarthi's relatives stay in the US. After hearing the news, all started gathering at her residence at Atlantic City Egg Horbor Township. The date of her cremation has not been finalised as yet. A few family sources say that Aarthi's funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, after the post mortem. Her last rites will be held as per Hindu tradition.
Meanwhile, her family is considering taking legal action against the doctors in the hospital in Atlantic City. In a statement to Telugu news channel TV9, a source close to Aarthi's family revealed that they are waiting for the post mortem report and they are planning to take legal action after going through the report.
