Fully-Faired Suzuki Gixxer SF Reaches Dealers Ahead of 7 April Launch, Bookings Open; Everything You Need to Know

The wait is almost over. Japanese two-wheeler maker Suzuki will present its much-awaited Gixxer SF bike to its fans in India on 7 April and now ahead of its launch, the dealers of the company have started accepting the bookings for the model.

A report of RushLane said the new fully-faired Gixxer SF has started reaching the showrooms of the company and the bookings for the model are open with a down payment of ₹5,000. The new Gixxer SF is expected to get a price tag around ₹90,000.

From a visual stand point, there is nothing much to talk about the styling of the soon-to-be-launched Gixxer 150 SF as it remains almost the same as its sibling Gixxer 155, except for the fully front fairing and the bigger windshield. The model is expected to get telescopic suspension at the front and mono suspension at the rear and the chassis also remains the same.

Just like the design and suspension, the power is likely to come from the same 154.9cc four-stroke single cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine has the capacity to churn out 14.8PS @8,000rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm @6,000rpm with 5-speed gearbox and Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology will also be intact. From the previous spy shots, it looks like there is no change in the riding position and the handle bar of the new Gixxer SF model.

Likely to be offered in Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Red and Metallic Grey body paints, Suzuki Gixxer SF will be squared off against Yamaha Fazer and Honda CBR in the domestic market.
