The new fully-faired Suzuki Gixxer SF is all set to reach the Indian showrooms soon and the new batch of spy shots of the model suggests that the production of the Gixxer is in full swing at the company's plant.
Snapped by the folks at Bike Portal, the new set of spy shots show us a fleet of new Gixxer SF in its completely revealed avatar. The new Suzuki model which is coming to rival Yamaha Fazer and Honda CBR is seen donned in Black body paint. Previous spy shots have shown us the model in white and blue body paints.
Gixxer SF, the fully-faired model looks identical to its Gixxer sibling in its style and design, except for the full front fairing and bigger windshield.
The front side the new model reminds us of the Hayabusa styling and the riding position and the handlebar seem to be the same as that of existing Gixxer.
Mechanically, the new Gixxer is likely to borrow the same engine of the current model in the form of 154.9cc four-stroke single cylinder air-cooled engine. The motor has the capacity to pump out 14.8PS @8,000rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm @6,000rpm.
Likely to be offered in Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Red and Metallic Grey, the new Gixxer SF is speculated to reach the showrooms in April with a price tag around ₹90,000.
