The dreams of many 90s' kids were realised when Netflix decided to revive "Full House" with a spin-off named "Fuller House." We know now that there will be a second season of the show and more importantly DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger) may still have a future together.
Season 1 of "Fuller House" had ended with DJ deciding that despite Matt (John Brotherton) and Steve competing for her love and demanding that she choose one of them, she wants to enjoy being single for a while. The charming doctor is going to run the veterinary clinic, and obviously Brotherton is getting promoted to series regular in Season 2.
This news has many fans worried, because more screen time for Matt may translate to more time for him to woo DJ. However, that does not seem to be the case here. In fact, it is understood that the good doctor will be moving on from DJ and looking elsewhere. It is probably the best idea for the duo, considering they have to ultimately work together.
According to TV Line, Matt will find comfort in Cristal, an extremely flexible yoga instructor, as he tries to get over DJ's rejection. However, this means that there is still hope for DJ and Steve. Granted, this does not guarantee that Matt and DJ's storyline is over, but a glimmer of hope is all fans need. After all, "Full House" fans wished "Fuller House" into existence.
