People across the world celebrated Friendship Day on (Sunday, Aug. 7) to mark the beautiful bond that friends share among them. While some sent messages and greetings, many partied with friends.

Anita Hassanandani and Karan Patel: Though the "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress plays Karan's ex-wife on-screen, off-screen they share an amazing bond. The two, who are the best buddies in real life, often hang out along with their respective spouses.

Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami: The gorgeous and equally talented actresses have been best friends for a very long time now. Recently, Sanaya, who is participating in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8", also confessed to have been taking tips from her best friend who is the winner of one of the previous seasons.
