After accusing controversial self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa of running a sex racket, Indian model and actress Arshi Khan has accused her of operating a hawala (illegal transfer of money) racket.
Arshi Khan made the allegation against Radhe Maa and her associates, referring to the huge online donations that Radhe Maa's trust (Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust) gets from Indian and foreign devotees and the property the godwoman possesses.
"Radhe Maa and her associates are running a hawala racket along with a sex racket. They have been collecting funds via online donations. There is absolutely no account of the money collected by Radhe Maa and her associates over the last 13 years. A woman who travels around in a Rs 80 lakh Jaguar car must have lots of money, of course in benami (unregistered) accounts," India News Network quoted Arshi Khan as saying.
"She has also been conducting satsangs all over the world, where donations flow in like water. She and her associates collect over Rs 25 to Rs 50 lakh per satsang abroad. So, Radhe Maa and her associates must have collected hundreds of crores over the years. Where is all the money going? How is it being routed to India? How much income tax is she paying? Where is her Trust registered?," the model asked.
Arshi Khan, who also triggered a controversy recently by revealing about her intimate relationship with Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, has reportedly filed a fresh complaint against Radhe Maa and two of her associates, Man Mohan Gupta and Sanjiv Gupta of Global Advertiser, with the Mumbai police, a copy of which has been sent to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Apart from alleging Radhe Maa and her associates of running sex racket and hawala operations, Arshi Khan also stated that the godwoman's followers have been threatening to kill her.
Earlier, a former devotee of Radhe Maa, actress Dolly Bindra, also accused the godwoman of conducting "sex fuelled satsangs" and stated that she was sexually assaulted by Radhe Maa's devotees during one such gathering.
