Thousands of journalists and citizens in France came together to pay tribute to the editors and cartoonists of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, who were killed in the terror attack on 7 January.
The terror attack in Paris on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo left twelve people dead, including eight members of the paper's staff. Editor and principal cartoonist Stéphane Charbonnier was one among the dead.
This heinous act of terrorism has drawn the ire and wrath of people not only in France, but also across the globe. Many took to Twitter to condemn the act.
