Before HTC could officially unveil the rumoured One A9, French network carrier Orange jumped the gun by launching a dedicated page of the device revealing key specifications and design elements.
Orange's e-shop SOSH page displaying the HTC One A9 was still live (HERE) at the time of filing this report. It shows that the new HTC phone will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
It also says the device will sport a 5.0-inch full HD display and comes with a 13MP camera on the rear-side and a 4MP snapper on the front.
The images posted on the website shows HTC One A9 awfully identical to Apple's iPhone 6 series.
The all-metal body with curved corners and also the white strips (top and bottom) on the rear-side is uncanny. The only difference is the HTC phone houses primary camera module in the top centre, whereas the Apple device feature the camera on the top left-corner.
HTC is confirmed to host the launch event in four cities - New York City, London, New Delhi and Taipei on 20 October and has promised to stream the webcast live online. Going by the recent spate of reports, in all probability, the company will unveil One A9.
