While speculations are rife that Zayn Malik is set to enter Bollywood as an actor, reports that the former 'One Direction' singer will soon croon a Hindi film song are doing the rounds.
The reports say Zayn could team up with singer Kanika Kapoor of "Baby Doll" fame to sing for an upcoming Bollywood film.
"Kanika and Zayn are set to work on a song for an upcoming movie. They have already met to discuss the music," NDTV quoted a source as saying.
Kanika preferred not to comment about it. "I don't want to comment on this right now. Whenever I have to announce anything, I will make sure that I tell you," she said.
However, a source close to Kanika confirmed the news. "Things are at an initial stage, but it will be big for sure," said the source.
Last month, 22-year-old Malik met Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the fifth Asian Awards held in London. The duo spent some good time together and even clicked a selfie that was posted on Twitter.
The picture went viral on the Internet, with over two lakhs likes on Facebook and retweets on Twitter.
Recently, the stylish singer also exchanged some tweets with Farah Khan, where he appreciated Farah's directorial debut film "Main Hoon Na". Their tweets led to a buzz that Zayn may star in "Main Hoon Na" sequel alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
