The Farah-Shah Rukh combo has given Bollywood enthusiasts their share of ultimate masala entertainers. While "Main Hoon Na", "Om Shanti Om", and "Happy New Year" have had a dream run at the box office, the first two have a massive cult following.
Interestingly, the latest to rave about the 2004 comedy thriller is former One Direction singer Zayn Malik. Replying to one of his fans' tweets, he appreciated Farah's debut film as a director.
"@ouatdani main hoon na ! Great film quite relevant title too x," he posted. The filmmaker acknowledged his appreciation of the movie by jokingly offering him a role in the sequel.
"THANK U ZAYN..u should b in part 2 (sic)," she wrote.
Only time will tell if he will make his Bollywood debut with Farah's film?
However, this isn't the first time that Farah has spoken about the idea of making a sequel to her first film.
After "Main Hoon Na" turned 10 last year, she got nostalgic about the beautiful memories from the film. She posted pictures, thanking SRK for turning her life around.
The superstar, however, brought up the idea of making a sequel in which he will be doing only bathing scenes and the movie would be shot in a bath tub.
"@iamsrk u in a wet white shirt ,under a waterfall my darling ,,was my gift to all the women in the world!!#10yrsofMHN." To which Shah Rukh replied, "@TheFarahKhan let's make a sequel after Happy New Year....Main NaHoon NA???!!! Only bathing scenes and the whole film shot in a tub."
In other news, Zayn was honoured at The Asian Awards 2015 last month. At the after-party, he was spotted having a good time with the "Fan" star, who later posted a selfie from the event making it one of the most retweeted photos of Twitter (India).
