It has only been a few months since former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung left SM Entertainment, and the singer-actress has launched her own fashion line, inspired by her own sense of style.
In a recent interview with L'Officiel Singapore, the recently-turned fashion designer talked of life after leaving SM Entertainment. Jessica said that she's been extremely busy since she left the entertainment house because there are added responsibilities and pressure when one is working on her own. The singer was quick to add that she has the luxury to take time off whenever she wants to.
The former Girls' Generation member, who's been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade, said that her experience, has been one of learning. "I had no idea it would turn into what it is today. However, I think I'm still the same old me from when I started – just a more matured version."
Jessica, who appears on the cover of L'Officiel Singapore's December/January cover, is seen in elegant, sophisticated dresses from this year's fall/winter collection. The "Barbie Girl" singer seems to have thrown herself into the world of fashion. Her first fall/winter collection was recently released; the singer said she picks "products" or item of fashion that she normally wears, like sunglasses and jeans.
However, it will be a while before we see her solo singing career. "My team and I are working on different aspects of my career. Announcements are forthcoming," Allkpop quoted her as saying.
