Jessica Jung, an ex member of SM Entertainment's popular girl group Girls' Generation, will reportedly make her big screen debut through an upcoming Chinese film, titled "Love Package".
The former Kpop star was spotted by her fans in a Beijing restaurant filming the movie with popular Hong Kong actor Chen Wei Ting. While the plot and character details of the film are currently under wraps, there is a buzz that it will hit big screens of China in 2016, according to Soompi.
The 27-year-old America-born Korean entertainer, Jessica, left the girl group in September 2014 to pursue a career in fashion designing. She held several discussions with the firm in the last two years, but finally decided to terminate her contract last August.
On 6 August, both the parties released official statements announcing their decision to part ways. While SM Entertainment stated that the celeb "is going to start on a new path", Jessica thanked the agency and her followers for all their love and support.
After her departure from Girls' Generation, the former Kpop star appeared in Chinese variety show, "Yes! Coach" along with Joey Yung, Aarif Rahman, Joey Yung and Michelle Chen.
