As part of the contract nullification case with SM Entertainment, former EXO members Kris (Wu Yifan) and Luhan had their latest court-ordered mediation at the Seoul Central District Court on 6 February.
While Kris had his fourth court-ordered mediation with the firm, it was Luhan's third attempt to settle the issue.
The meeting, which lasted for 30 minutes, failed as both the sides did not make much attempt to settle the case, according to Korean website allKpop.
Although the court has set a new date for the next mediation, there are no hopes for a settlement between former members of South Korean-Chinese K-pop boy band and the record label.
The dispute between Kris, Luhan and SM Entertainment began after the celebs bid goodbye to the company and filed lawsuits against it in last May and October, respectively.
However, if the issue is not settled through the mediation, it will be taken to court for standard civil proceedings and the activities of Kris and Luhan will be put on hold for a long time, which may have a major impact on them as they are at the peak of their career path.
Meanwhile, there are several speculations doing the rounds that the former EXO members, who are currently busy with individual projects, might team up together in future.
