After the success of "Somewhere Only We Know", former EXO member Kris aka Wu Yifan will appear in another Chinese movie, "Legend of Ravaging Dynasties" (LORD), alongside Fan Bingbing.
The 3D film, which is scheduled to hit theatres in 2016, will be directed by Guo Jingming. He confirmed the news via Weibo, and also released a few posters featuring the celeb as the lead character. The post was captioned as: "You are the king of ice and snow. You are the frozen ice of the last era. You are in a dark night of despair. You are the sweetest purity. Through thousands of voices, you finally elected yifan #MovieLORD."
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old shared his anxieties with the director and wrote, "Tell your fans that at each end of the novel and your film, the main characters always die. I'm a little scared. Can you let me go? I want to look at more sequels."
However, this is not the first project of Kris with the director as he had written his first solo song, "Time Boils the Rain", for Jingming's blockbuster movie, "Tiny Times 3".
Last year, Jingming had revealed that he is planning a movie with ex-K Pop star and said, "Yifan is a good actor. We haven't yet started on the scenario. Once the project gets started, we'll have a discussion. We need time to prepare. Our project is going to be quite a fun and mysterious one. I can't say anything right now, but when the time is right, you'll find out," reported Soompi.
"LORD" will reportedly revolve around four kingdoms, East, West, South, and North, and a young man, according to Wow Keren.
