Ford, in association with Rally Innovations, released pictures of rally inspired Focus ST that will be premiered at the upcoming SEMA show at Las Vegas starting from 3 November.
Rally Innovations studio describes the Focus ST as the "the future of rally". The menacing look of the car is highlighted by Gundam-style body kit that uses red accents generously on the exterior and 19-inch matte graphite wheels.
The exterior of the Focus ST features Squadron Pro LED wide cornering lights. The aerodynamic add-ons include three-piece aluminium front splitter, aluminium side splitter and wheel diverters. The Gundam-style aspects that include vented hood, rear hatch spoiler, metal wide fenders and side moldings, give the vehicle a more mean look.
Keeping the rally car theme, the Focus ST comes with a four-point custom roll cage. The rear seats are removed while front seats are a pair of Euroster race seats with four-point harness. The car gets Sony sound system.
The power train also gets changes such as Greddy Airinx intake system, Greddy Supreme SP exhaust system, aluminium intercooler and piping kit. The chassis gets RS-R Sports-i coilover suspension, R1 Concepts custom slotted rotors and pads.
Apart from the rally-inspired Focus ST, Ford will also showcase many special edition Focus models. A heavily tuned ultra orange Focus ST, a COBB Tuning developed Focus ST for bicycle enthusiasts with Thule bike rack system and a golden coloured Focus ST are some of the other attractions.
