In the middle of their brawl, Floyd Mayweather Jr reportedly took an opportunity to give T.I. some words of wisdom about women, when the rapper confronted him about an Instagram picture that his wife posted.
A video posted on TMZ shows Mayweather enjoying with his pals at Larry Flynt's Hustler Club a few hours after the brawl. The professional boxer appears to be in good spirits as he dances and sings to Chris Brown's "Loyal" and in the midst of all this Mayweather is heard saying, "I told T.I. these hoes ain't loyal."
The brawl took place on May 25 when T.I. approached Mayweather, who was dining at Fatburger on the Strip, questioning the boxer if he was sleeping with Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.
T.I. reportedly began suspecting that Mayweather was sleeping with his wife after Cottle posted on May 5 an Instagram photo that included Mayweather along with a bunch of friends.
Later, when his wife posted yet another picture with Mayweather's daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, with the caption "Had to come celebrate with my new boo @moneyyaya Happy Birthday bae," T.I. flipped, prompting the confrontation.
Speaking about the incident, Mayweather told Necolebitchie: "He talked about, basically, 'These girls tryna play us against each other.' I said, 'I don't know what you're talking about. You're talking about your wife?'" Floyd explained. "I never put up a picture of her on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I was basically like, 'Listen. I'm letting you know I ain't got…me and your wife don't have nothing…if you think so.'"
Apparently, Mayweather even urged T.I. to consider what he did for a living before picking up a fight with him.
"I said, 'Listen, don't come to my face with no disrespectful sh-t. Like I told you before, you must've forgot what I did for a living.' He said, 'You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.' I said, 'My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.' Just like that."
Meanwhile, a TMZ source told the website that Mayweather is shocked with T.I.'s reaction because he thought they were all friends. Mayweather has known Cottle for a long time now, and he considers her a friend, and has never been romantically involved with her. The boxer has also issued an apology for calling Cottle a b***h during the brawl.
"Only person I wanna apologize towards is Tiny. I said something like 'control your b-tch' and I don't want to say that about Tiny. So I do apologize to Tiny because she cool people, man. She cool. She never been disrespectful to me," Mayweather told Necolebitchie.
