Flipkart on Monday announced its annual Big Billion Day sale, which kicks off on 2 October and runs till 6 October, and Snapdeal followed it up with its own special announcement on Tuesday. Snapdeal will be running a discount-heavy five-day sale from 2 October to 6 October across all the categories, matching Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale in the best way possible.
Snapdeal's Unbox Diwali Sale, which is the first of its kind, will bring deals and discounts on various categories such as electronics, mobiles, furniture, and home appliances. To make the sale exciting, Snapdeal will be offering hourly deals during the sale period with discounts up to 70 per cent.
As the online shopping festival comes in time for Diwali, there will be special Snapdeal Diwali packs by leading brands, which can serve as gifting options. Shoppers will also have the convenience of purchasing any product through easy EMIs and product exchange offers on electronics and mobile phones.
"We are entering this season with the widest assortment, key brand partnerships and exclusive line of products. This Diwali season, we will provide our consumers millions of opportunities to 'Unbox' their aspirations while availing exciting offers, including the chance to save still more through our partnership with leading banks," Saurabh Bansal, VP and head of categories at Snapdeal, said in a statement.
"Our superfast deliveries and free shipping options through Snapdeal Gold will add further sparkle to the festive offerings," he added.
These offers combined with free shipping, next-day deliveries, easy returns, product quality checks and Snapdeal Gold memberships will make shopping seamless and hassle-free. Shoppers can also expect special card offers from leading banks during the sale.
With the upcoming stream of sales from Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal, consumers will have to look around for best deals across board. Other than Flipkart and Snapdeal, Amazon will kick off Great Festival Sale on the same dates.
