After a short hiatus, The Flash will air its episode 6 titled Shade on Tuesday, and it will reveal if Wally finally embraces his destiny to be Kid Flash.
The promo for the episode teases at Doctor Alchemy -- who has the ability to restore Wally's powers from the Flashpoint timeline -- urging Wally to become Kid Flash, but it is yet to be revealed if Keiynan Lonsdale's character will team up with Alchemy. The episode will also see Barry revealing to Wally that he was a speedster in the alternate timeline. This revelation is going to cause a lot of confusion, but it is not immediately known if this will cause a strain between Wally and Barry.
Teasing what's to come, Lonsdale told TVGuide that the episode will showase a different side of Wally. "For me, it was so much fun to play, as we saw in the trailer, he's been getting these sort of visions. He's sort of possessed and that was so much fun to play, someone that's out of control..." he said, adding that fans can look forward to an interesting interaction between Wally and Iris. "When I read the kind of beef that they have, and the physical sort of fight that's going on, I was really excited for Iris' character. It was really fun," he said.
The synopsis for Shade reads: "When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe."
