A fire in a Delhi factory killed five people, including four minors on Monday, highlighting the dangers faced by children forced to work. One of them was only five years old.
The five died of suffocation from smoke at the factory in Begampur, West Delhi.
"Five people died due to suffocation, as fire broke out in a factory that made paper plates," a fire official told IANS.
The dead inlclude Niranjan (5), Nilesh (11), Shivam (15), Shravan Kumar (17) and Nitin (26).
The blaze reportedly broke out at 3:14am and eight fire-tenders were rushed to the spot.
