Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who will soon be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's "Fitoor", will be at Lodhi Gardens, Delhi, to launch the film's second song "Pashmina".
Interestingly, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha had shot a romantic scene for "Silsila" (1981) at Lodhi Gardens. After the film's release, the scene where Big B and Rekha took a midnight romantic walk in the Lodhi Gardens became the talk of the town.
And now, after years, Aditya and Katrina will be at the same venue to launch the "Pashmina" song that has some intense lovemaking scenes between the fresh pair. The actors are expected to heat up the launch event by enacting a romantic scene from the film, considering Lodhi Gardens is touted to be one of the most romantic places in Delhi.
"When we were booking the venue, the authorities mentioned how Amitabh and Rekha had shot a few portions of their film with Yash Chopra, Silsila at Lodhi Gardens. The entire team is looking forward to visit the garden," the spokesperson said in a statement.
Rekha, who was earlier part of "Fitoor", but later walked out of the project, had also expressed her fondness for Lodhi Gardens, while the cast and crew were shooting together in Kashmir.
The impressive trailer of "Fitoor" and the two songs "Yeh Fitoor Mera" and "Pashmina", have raised the expectations of the movie-goers. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the movie "Fitoor" is based on Charles Dickens' novel "Great Expectations" and is slated to be released on 12 February.
