It isn't a surprise that Nintendo is planning to make its mark in the smartphone industry with its own game for mobile devices. In fact, we already know from previous reports that Nintendo is getting into the mobile gaming industry along with DeNA, and that the NX forms a big part of the company's plans.
However, as it seems, fans can now expect news of the first-ever Nintendo game for the mobile platform pretty soon. According to DeNA West CEO Shintaro Asako at the GamesBeat 2015 conference, "Soon, we should be able to announce the game."
"I can't say too much about the Nintendo deal," Asako added, as reported via VentureBeat. "But it's a really exciting initiative." He also stated that Nintendo and DeNA will release five games between now and March 2017, apart from also implying that the partnership between the two companies will continue well beyond that.
