Sudeep and Upendra have made this Kannada Rajyotsava special for their fans, as the first looks of their forthcoming movie "Ranna" and "Uppi 2" have been released.
While the first look of "Ranna" started circulating on the internet, a day before the Rajyotsava celebration, the poster of "Uppi 2" was released on Saturday.
The release of the first looks of the two big movies has made fans happy and they are putting in extra efforts to make the posters popular on social media websites.
Sudeep Starrer "Ranna"
Sudeep starrer "Ranna" features Rachita Ram and Haripriya in the female lead roles. Yesteryear actress Madhoo of "Roja" and Kannada film "Annaiah" fame is returning to Kannada films with this flick. Senior actor Devaraj is playing an important role in the film directed by Nanda Kishore.
It is Nanda Kishore's third movie after blockbusters "Victory" and "Adhyaksha". "Ranna" is a remake of Telugu hit movie "Attarintiki Daredi" starring Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha. It has V Harikrishna's music, Sudhakar S Raj's cinematography and KM Prakash's editing. The upcoming flick will release soon.
Upendra's "Uppi 2"
"Uppi 2" stars Upendra, Parul Yadav and Kristina Akheeva, an Australian model who acted in Bollywood movie "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2". The movie is written and directed by Upendra himself and it is produced by his wife Priyanka.
The forthcoming movie is a sequel to psychological-thriller "Upendra". The first instalment featured Raveena Tandon, Prema and Damini in the lead roles. However, the new Kannada film, which is still in the shooting stages, will hit screens in 2015.
