The team of Vijay and Sudeep's forthcoming Tamil movie "Puli" has a surprise for the audience. If buzz in the industry is to be believed, the makers are planning to release the first look of "Puli" in mid-February.
While the exact date has not been revealed yet, the first look will be directly released on the internet and is expected to be out at midnight. It has become a new trend these days to release the teaser and posters at midnight to generate huge hype around the movie.
Meanwhile, the "Puli" team has been keeping itself busy by filming key portions. Recently, the film unit shot a hair-raising action sequence choreographed by Hong Kong based stunt master Nang.
"Puli" is a fantasy-adventure movie written and directed by Chimbudevan. Vijay's former manager PT Selvakumar and Shibu K Thameen are jointly producing the movie, which is made with the budget of ₹75+ crore.
It has Devi Sri Prasad's music, Natarajan Subramaniam's cinematography and Kasi Vishwanathan's editing. It will hit screens in July.
On the other hand, the theatrical rights of "Kaththi" in the Australia/New Zealand region has already been sold to MKS Melbourne, which had distributed Surya's "Anjaan" last year.
