The first look of Aditya Roy Kapur-Katrina Kaif starrer "Fitoor" has been released. The film also features veteran actress Rekha in an important role.
Fan clubs of the celebs have shared the picture on Twitter, in which Rekha, who portrays the role of Kaif's aunt, is seen sitting under a tree amidst a beautiful backdrop.
The evergreen actress who plays a begum looks royal in the Manish Malhotra's outfit. The picture has gone viral on internet and has garnered a lot of appreciation, thus making fans wait eagerly for the film to release.
"Fitoor" is the Indian adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel "Great Expectations". While, Aditya will be portraying the role of a Kashmiri lad, Noor, the "Bang Bang" actress plays his lady love, Firdaus.
The 60-year-old's character in the film has grey shades and is said to be inspired from Miss Havisham, the character of an old wealthy spinster from the novel.
The first schedule of the movie was supposed to kick off in Kashmir a few months back, but as flood hit the region, the shooting had to be postponed.
Reportedly, Ajay Devgn has been signed in to do a cameo role in the film. The "Action Jackson" actor's role of Muazzam is a short, but important part in the film.
Backed by UTV Motion Pictures and helmed by "Kai Po Che" director Abhishek Kapoor , "Fitoor" is slated to hit the screens in the later half of 2015.
