First Look: Priyanka Chopra's Sister Mannara Goes Nude for Debut Film 'Zid'

The makers of the upcoming thriller "Zid" have unveiled the film's poster, featuring new comer Barbie Handa aka Mannara, who is the female lead of the film.

Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, Mannara is Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra's first cousin. A well known actress down South, the gorgeous actress has received quite a lot of appreciation for her work in "Zid".

In the poster, Mannara is seen baring almost all. The actress, however, carries her nude body with great confidence. The poster carries the tagline "Come Play With Fire".

Speaking about the newbie, producer Anubhav Sinha told The Times of India: "While casting for the film we needed a fresh face who had great screen presence yet someone who could pull off this complex role and Mannara fit the bill perfectly".

Co-producer Mushtaq Sheikh added that Mannara is a talented actress and will surely grab a lot of eyeballs with her fabulous work in the film. 

"Zid" is an erotic psychological thriller and apart from Mannara, the film also has Karanvir Sharma. Produced by Sinha and Sheikh and presented by Benaras Mediaworks, "Zid" is slated to hit the theatres on 28 November.

In a recent interview with The Times of India, the actress mentioned that she doesn't mind showing her bare body as she finds it hot. "We are in 2014 and I can't be in a ghoonghat. If I wanted to be all covered, I'd do a saas-bahu serial. I have a hot body and I don't mind showing it."

Further, when asked about Chopra's reaction, Mannara clarified that she took the "Bajirao Mastani" actress' advice prior to the nude photo shot to which the latter gave an instant nod.

"Before the poster was shot, I called up Priyanka who was in Barcelona for a film. She told me to go for it, but ensure that it's done aesthetically and didn't look sleazy. I took her advice and am getting lots of compliments," Mannara added.
