The first look of Trisha Krishnan-starrer Mohini was released on Tuesday, October 18. The makers have unveiled some striking posters of the actress.
The Mohini poster of Trisha with eight hands carrying weapons of different kinds is inspired by Goddess Durga and symbolises the positive energy against negative forces. It also indicates that the actress has a strong and powerful role in the upcoming movie, which will be dubbed in Telugu.
The first look posters also give an impression of the Tamil movie revolving around Trisha's character. The upcoming film is said to be a horror film, which is rich in visuals. Also, the Tamil movie is inspired by real-life incidents.
Trisha will reportedly be seen in dual roles and one character among the two is said to be of a fiery blogger. More details about other characters are expected to be revealed in the days to come.
The VFX team that worked in Hollywood movie Harry Potter series has been signed for the movie. Mohini is written and directed by Ramana Madesh of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Madhurey fame. Bollywood actor Jackky Bhagnani is playing an in important role in the film, which has Swaminathan, Yogi Babu, Ganeshkar and others in the supporting roles.
It has Vivek-Mervin's music, RB Gurudev's cinematography and Dinesh Ponnuraj's cinematography. The movie is bankrolled by Princes Pictures, which was earlier associated with Suriya's Singam 3.
The shooting of Mohini kick-started in June in the UK and the movie is shot entirely in foreign countries, including in Mexico and Thailand. The filming is nearing its completion.
