The first look posters of Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming film "Rowdy", featuring veteran actor Mohan Babu and son Vishnu Manchu, have been released.
Mohan, who was last seen in the recently released "Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda" with Vishnu, is teaming up with his son once again.
Releasing the first look, the veteran said: "Every scene and my look in the film Rowdy has been an amazing experience. It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which takes RGV action drama film to a whole new level."
For the first time in several years, Mohan will be seen in his natural avatar without toupee and with rugged good looks in "Rowdy". The film, touted as a political thriller, will also see the actor pairing up with Jayasudha after more than a decade. The duo had worked together in several films in the past, which turned out to be big hits. They are expected to re-create that magic once again with "Rowdy." Vishnu and actress Shanvi Srivastav will appear in pivotal roles in the RGV directorial.
"Rowdy" will be produced by Parthasarathy, Gajendra and Vijaykumar under AV Pictures banner. According to a press statement, the producers said that the film's impact is expected to be "bigger than Mohan Babu hit film 'Peddarayadu' and 'Rayalaseema Ramana Chowdary' that created huge frenzy in the film circles and among the movie followers."
The film's music will be composed by Sri Karthik. The shoot of the Mohan starrer has been reportedly completed in 18 days. The makers are yet to announce the film's release date.
