The first look and the title of Rojin Thomas' upcoming Malayalam movie "Jo And The Boy" with Manju Warrier and Master Sanoop Santhosh in the lead roles were revealed on Thursday, 12 November. The film is expected to hit theatres in December.
The title was officially launched at an event organised at Lullu Mall in Kochi and the function was attended by the cast and crew of the upcoming film.
"The title release of Jo and the Boy was super fun! The lovely & energetic crew assembled at Lullu Mall, Kochi and spray painted a stencil. The title was revealed when the outer layer was removed ... It became a pleasant surprise for everyone present as the shoot and related information was a closely-guarded secret," Manju posted on her Facebook page after the function.

As the title suggest, the film is the story of animator Jo, played by Manju and a boy (Sanoop).
This is the fourth film of Manju after her comeback film "How Old Are You" and the director has promised that the actress will be seen in a different avatar compared to her other comeback films, taking us back to her youthful performances in the blockbuster hit "Summer in Bethlehem". "D2 D4 Dance" fame Pearle Maaney and Lalu Alex also play pivotal roles in it.
"Jo and the Boy" is expected to make a mark at the Kerala box office as Rojin's previous film "Philip and the Monkey Pen" with Sanoop was a huge success.
Meanwhile, Manju will also be seen as police commissioner Sribala opposite Kunchacko Boban in Rajesh Pillai's psychological thriller "Vettah".
