Mahesh Babu fans have a reason to smile; the first look of the Mahesh Babu-Shruthi Haasan movie will be out on 21 March.
Industry insiders claim that the makers of the movie are busy with the final designs of the first look.
The team recently finished its schedule in Madurai and is expected to pack up soon. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie is a highly-awaited one. As per the latest report, Mahesh Babu plays the role of a non-resident Indian, and the movie is touted as a complete family entertainer.
The movie, which was launched in August 2014, has been making headlines for several reasons. From the movie's title to the remunerations of the actors, everything has been talked about.
The movie has been rumoured to be titled "Parakrama", "Magaadu", "Maa Akka Bangaram", "Srimanthudu" at several stages of production. The latest we hear is that the movie has been titled "Zamindar". However, an official confirmation is awaited.
Reports suggest that Shruthi Haasan has bagged the role in the movie for a huge remuneration of ₹12.5 million. Apparently the makers were impressed with the chemistry she shared with Mahesh Babu in an item number in the movie "Agaadu". The actress will reportedly be seen in a glamorous role in the upcoming flick.
The makers of the movie have also made sure that they have an impressive star cast, which includes Jagapathi Babu, Sukanay, Rajendra Prasad, Aamani, Sampath Raj and Brahmanandam. Poorna will make a guest appearance as a trained Kathak dancer.
The cinematography is done by R Madhi and the movie has been shot extensively at various locations in Hyderabad, Pune, and Madurai and Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu. As per the reports, the makers will shoot some sequences abroad.
The yet-to-be-titled movie is produced by Y Naveen, Y Ravishankar and CV Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
