The makers of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's forthcoming film "Sarbjit" revealed its first look on Monday.
Director Omung Kumar shared the poster on his Twitter handle and also noted that the shoot of the film has begun.
The former Miss World will play the role of Indian prisoner Sarbjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur in the biopic. Sarbjit died in a Pakistan jail in May 2013.
The character of Sarbjit will be played by "Highway" actor Randeep Hooda.
"Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar will also play an important part of this flick. He has been roped in for the character of Khalid Pervaiz, a Pakistani lawyer who fights Sarbjit's case.
The biopic is being produced by Sandeep Singh, Zeeshan Quadri and Omung Kumar. The film will hit theatres on 20 May next year, and is expected to be released at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.

Apart from this flick, Aishwarya will also be seen in Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" next year.
The film is being touted as a complicated love story, which also features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles.
Buzz is that apart from Ranbir and Anushka's romance, the audience will see Ranbir and Aishwarya's chemistry as well.
Releasing in Diwali 2016, it is believed to be a love story about a man falling for a woman older than him.
